A beautifully simple and lighter way to top a pie, with my gorgeous cannellini mash. Flavour it with garlic, cheese or just how you please.
Wow, these are a knock out….. once you fill your house with the smell of pastry, turning golden in your oven, you’ll never look back and these pies are no exception. This recipe makes 1 large family pie or 4 individuals.
This recipe is a fabulous, fabulous pudding to having cooking through the house. The aromas are like Christmas morning and it’s also genius because you can use any left over bread, jam, marmalade or whisky (rum) – aye? Never say I don’t look after you!!
The best dessert hook-up ever – Chocolate and Orange. A spoon-licker to be sure.
This is one of those simple dishes, that once it hits the heat of the oven and the aroma begins to waft around becomes a ‘is it ready yet’ intoxicating drama. There’s always a burnt lip, mouth or tongue in my house!!
